Only six months until Santa or Krampus comes! I made these last Christmas and they are so cool looking!
These were very fun to make. Aside from frosting, I used candy eyes, candy beads and edible markers.
Things you'll need:
GINGERDEAD DOUGH
ROYAL ICING -great techniques with this recipe
GINGERDEAD MAN COOKIE CUTTER
And anything else you want to decorate with. I got all my candies in the cake decorating section of a craft store. You can also use Wilton pre made cookie icing.
I found the easiest way to get the frosting into the bone grooves of the cookie was to pipe it in small amounts, then spread it gently with a toothpick. If you use the premade icing, it works best slightly warmed. I prefer the premade, it's so much easier for me to use, especially when making large batches of cookies.

Protect Me, Satan
Here is my first finished cross stitch. I made it by looking at pictures of four different cross stitches, then just combined them into this treat!

Stitches
I recently decided to start doing some needle work. This is something I haven't done much of, but am becoming quickly addicted! I can't wait to try and make some of my own designs! For now I have found some really great patterns that others have made and I am very in love with!
This is the one I am working on right now, this is not my finished version. It is available HERE
This is going to be my next stitching pattern. This pattern is for embroidery, but I think I'm going to try to convert it to a cross stitch. This awesome Ouija pattern is from this shop.

Hollywood Monsters Fabric by Robert Kaufman
I am so excited to be getting more of this wondrous fabric! It's getting harder and harder to find, and it sells so fast. There are so many great things to make with this, every time I see it I get new inspiration.
